Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, also known as Coban Sewu, is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Indonesia. Located on the border of Lumajang and Malang in East Java, this majestic cascade is often called the “Niagara of Indonesia” because of its wide, semicircular curtain of water. The waterfall drops approximately 120 meters from a lush green cliff, creating a dramatic panorama surrounded by dense tropical forest and misty mountain air. From the viewpoint above, visitors can witness a breathtaking scene where multiple streams of water flow side by side, forming a giant natural amphitheater. The journey down to the base of the waterfall offers an adventurous experience, with bamboo stairs and rocky paths leading to an unforgettable close-up view of its powerful flow and pristine natural beauty.

Pickup in Surabaya: Day 1

The tour will begin after you are picked up by our driver or guide at Surabaya airport.
Our driver or guide will take you to the Mount Bromo area, a journey of approximately 3-4 hours. You can stop anywhere you like; discuss this with our driver.
Arrive at your hotel in the Mount Bromo area and check in.

Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Surabaya: Day 2

Wake up early at 12:00 AM to check out of your hotel and prepare for the Bromo sunrise tour.
At 1:00 or 2:00 AM, upon arrival at the Jeep basecamp, you’ll transfer to a Bromo 4WD Jeep and head to Mount Pananjakan (Kingkong Hill or Viewpoint 1), where you can watch the sunrise, take photos, and enjoy the view. From the Bromo sunrise point, you’ll see the highest mountain in Java, Mount Semeru, emitting smoke every 20 minutes.
After enjoying the sunrise, return to the jeep, and it will take you to the second location, the Bromo Crater.
Breakfast will be served in the Bromo area.
Afterward, the jeep will be parked 1 km before the crater.
From the jeep parking area, you can walk or rent a horse to the summit of Bromo, where you’ll climb 250 steps to the crater rim.
After returning from the crater, the jeep will take you to the third location, Savannah/Teletubbies Hill, and continue on to the tour’s final point, Whispering Sands.
Finally, the Bromo jeep will take you back to basecamp. Here, participants can clean themselves.
Take you to a local restaurant for lunch.
Transfer to Surabaya, which takes approximately 3 hours.
Arrival at Surabaya Airport. The tour ends.

Surabaya Pickup: Day 1

The tour will begin after you are picked up by our driver or guide at Surabaya airport.
Our driver or guide will take you to Pronojiwo village in Lumajang city, approximately 4-5 hours by private car, depending on the number of participants. You can stop anywhere you like; discuss this with our driver.
Check-in at a homestay in the Tumpak Sewu area (there are no hotels nearby).

Tumpak Sewu – Mount Bromo Tour: Day 2

Before heading to the waterfall, have breakfast and then check out.
Upon arrival at the Tumpak Sewu entrance, participants can hike to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
This waterfall is very different from other waterfall tours because we have to follow the river, climb up and down cliffs. Of course, you need extra strength and caution. Waterfalls, which can be classified as extreme hikes, are synonymous with adventure. The Tumpak Sewu tour takes 5 hours: Nirwana Waterfall, Telaga Biru, and Goa Tetes, a cave with rainwater and a lake inside, followed by a waterfall with natural stalactites and stalagmites.
After completing these three locations, head to the bathroom to clean up. Then, prepare to head to your hotel near Mount Bromo, a journey of approximately 3-4 hours.
Stop by a local restaurant for lunch.
Arrive at your hotel in the Mount Bromo area and check in.

Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Surabaya: Day 3

Wake up early at 12:00 PM to check out of your hotel and prepare for your Bromo sunrise tour.
